UrgeAnchor — Community Guidelines
Last updated: 17 July 2026
Community is an anonymous, opt-in space inside UrgeAnchor where people in recovery share wins, struggles, questions, and support. There are no names and no faces. A few simple rules keep it safe.
What this space is for
- Be honest. Real talk about urges, relapse, and recovery is exactly what this space is for.
- Be kind. Everyone here is fighting the same fight. Encourage, don't judge.
- Stay anonymous. Protect your own privacy and everyone else's — don't ask for or share identifying details.
Not allowed
- No links. Links are blocked automatically — they're the main way spam and harmful sites get in.
- No explicit content. Don't describe or seek out pornographic detail.
- No hate or harassment. Slurs, attacks, and cruelty are removed and can get you blocked.
- No solicitation or spam. No selling, advertising, self-promotion, or "add me" messages. Posting is rate-limited.
How we keep it safe
- Posts containing links, slurs, or solicitation are blocked automatically before they are published, and posting is rate-limited to stop spam floods.
- Anyone can report a post with a reason (harassment, sexual, spam, self-harm, or other). It is hidden from the reporter immediately.
- A post reported by several different people is hidden for everyone automatically.
- Anyone can block another person; they will never see that person's posts again, and the blocked person is not notified.
- We review reports and remove content or access that breaks these rules.
In crisis? If you are thinking about harming yourself, please contact a local helpline right away — the app's Safety section lists numbers for your country. Community is peer support between members; it is not emergency, medical, or mental-health care.
